"Goodyear, one of the fastest growing cities in the country, continues to welcome some of the most desired businesses to the city. Today, city of Goodyear officials joined Diversified Partners to celebrate the official groundbreaking of Ballpark Village, a new 7.7-acre retail development located at the northeast corner of Estrella Parkway and Yuma Road.
The project will bring a mix of national and local tenants near Goodyear Ballpark, spring training home of the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds. The center is nearly fully leased, with only 13,673 square feet of space remaining.
“We’re excited to welcome this new retail space to Goodyear,” said Mayor Joe Pizzillo. “This development meets an important need for residents in this part of the city by bringing shopping and services closer to home. It also enhances convenience, creates jobs and supports the continued growth and vitality of our community.”
Confirmed tenants include Farmer Boys, a fast-casual restaurant known for its farm-fresh burgers and breakfast, Mesquite (Mexican cuisine), Bruster's Real Ice Cream, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Nautical Bowls, Starbucks, Pacific Dental Services and The Nail Boss, a locally owned salon.
Adding to the excitement, Rush Funplex recently announced plans for a 74,000 square foot ground-up family entertainment center adjacent to the development. The popular indoor attraction will feature activities such as bowling, go-karts, laser tag, miniature golf, arcade games, bumper cars, trampolines and more. Ballpark Village will not just be a retail and dining hub, but a year-round destination for families and visitors.
Goodyear continues to experience rapid growth, welcoming many new residents and businesses each year. Along with Ballpark Village, several marquee retailers have recently announced they are coming to GSQ, the city’s new downtown, including Trader Joe’s, Nordstrom Rack, Fogo de Chão and First Watch. These developments highlight Goodyear’s momentum and its commitment to a dynamic mix of shopping, dining and entertainment options.
